Step1 select image files you which you want to reduce it’s size
Step2 resize option, you can special a percent of original image size or particular width and height, if you don’t want change the pixel size of your image, just skip this step and click next

Reduce photo resize with AutoWin photo Resizer is very easy, just 3 easy steps:

Step 1, select photos, in this step, select any photos you want to reduce it’s size.

Step 2, resize option, in this step, you can select the pixel size option of your photos, there are 2 options here, resize by percent or by particular value,  if you want reduce photo pixel size from to half of original, you can select resize by percent and set the percent to 50%, very straightforward. Or, if you want reduce photo size to a value like 300×200, you can select resize by value, and input the width and height you want. And there are more options here, this option is about the width and height ratio, called “match mode”. Please read “match mode” section.

Step 3, select output option , this step allow you to select output folder of photos, or you can accept program auto selected one, you can also change “compress option” by click button have this text on it.

There are 2 compress modes here, by compress level or by particular size, jpg image format support compress level from 0 to 100, which 0 is smallest file size and worst photo quality, and 100 is biggest file size and best quality, you can select any percent between them to make best choice for you.

If want to reduce photo size because some web site don’t accept photo file size exceed their limitation, you can select “make file size less than xxx kb” option to do this job.

Match Mode

There are 4 match modes here:

Exact match both, this mean don’t care width height ratio, just resize photo to the value you inputted.

Exact match width, this mean the output photo’s width will exactly equal to the value you input,  and depend on original width and new width ratio, get the new height size, so photo will keep ratio.

Exact match height, this mean the output photo’s height will exactly equal to the value you input,  and depend on original height and new height ratio, get the new width size, so photo will keep ratio.

Best match both, this mean the output photo will just less than the value you input, both in width and height, and program will auto select best ratio to resize the photo.
